Fantasy guild management game for PC
Our Adventurer Guild is a premium role-playing game for PC from developer GreenGuy. In this fantasy RPG, players will take on the role of guild leaders tasked with the duty of guiding a new crop of would-be adventurers venturing into a land filled with dangers and wonders.
What makes Our Adventurer Guild different from its contemporaries like Inkbound or Summoners Wars is the inclusion of management elements in its gameplay. Guild leader
In Our Adventurers Guild, you have been named the new leader of a declining guild after its previous head, your friend, dies. With the group in total disarray, it's now up to you to pick up the pieces and help its members push forward. Either lead them to fame and glory or to utter despair that will inevitably result in the disbandment of the group—everything rests on your shoulders.
Lead a diverse set of adventurers, each with their own particular set of skills and unique personalities. Be wary of the latter as you build camaraderie and synergy among the group. Combat is of the turn-based variety and there are dozens of different enemies to face. Use the special Bravery System during tough situations to push your heroes to the limit and turn the tide of battle.
This RPG also features a robust crafting system that lets you create all kinds of items for your heroes to equip to boost their powers and increase their chances of survival. That said, the gameplay can be quite finicky as your members tend to change moods at the drop of a hat, and adversely affects their effectiveness in battle. The game balance is also a bit hit-or-miss.
Feels a bit half-baked
Overall, the premise in Our Adventurer Guild is pretty unique and interesting, with a focus on not only tactical battles but also the growth of your heroes. The introduction of social mechanics is interesting and helps enhance the experience, they often just get in the way. Nevertheless, it is still worth checking out if you're a fan of the genre.
